The black beads is what material exactly? I am a person that wears my chain every day and sleeps with it, is this chain strong enough for that kind of wear and tear?

Thank you for contacting TraxNYC! The black beads are Onyx. As for the durability of this chain, it is pretty sturdy but as with most chains you have to be careful because if you tug it the wrong way or pull on it there is always a possibility it might break.
